Search ‘n Stuff London Meetup – Event Highlights
The first Search ‘n Stuff meetup of 2024 on January 25th in London was an engaging event for digital marketing professionals. Hosted in partnership with Studiohawk, the event provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to dive into the latest search engine and digital marketing topics.
The event featured six insightful presentations from industry experts. Speakers covered highly relevant topics like leveraging AI for content creation, PR data gathering hacks, Shopify SEO learnings, running SEO tests, analyzing anchor text with AI, and adapting to data restrictions.
Ozan Ketenci’s presentation “A Hands-On Guide to Elevating Efficiency with OpenAI’s Custom GPTs” provided attendees with practical tips and demonstrations for creating custom AI models with OpenAI to streamline content creation and optimize for search engines.
Amie Sparrow’s talk “Data Gathering Digital PR Hacks” equipped attendees with clever tips and tricks for harvesting crucial data to inform strategic public relations and digital marketing campaigns.
Lorcan Fearon’s presentation “Everything I’ve Learnt in 5 Years of Doing SEO on Shopify” gave attendees an insider’s perspective on optimisation best practices for the Shopify platform, with actionable tips for improving search visibility.
In between sessions, attendees networked over welcome drinks and bonded over delicious pizza and cupcakes. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged great conversations and connections between digital marketing peers.
Giulia Panozzo’s “Theory to Practice: How to Run SEO Tests Like a Pro” guided attendees through implementing advanced SEO testing methodologies to iteratively improve website performance.
Batuhan Sasi’s presentation “Beat The Penguin: Anchor Text Analysis w/ AI” shared his proven tactics for leveraging AI to conduct killer anchor text analysis, equipping attendees with expertise to optimize on-page content and website architecture.
Baris Asa’s timely talk “Sink or Swim: Survival with the New Data Restrictions” equipped attendees with strategic guidance on adapting to consent modes, privacy regulations, and limited data access by exploring compliant data collection tools and optimising digital marketing strategies.
With informative talks, ample networking opportunities, and tasty treats, the Search ‘n Stuff London Meetup achieved its goal of helping digital marketers discover new trends, techniques, and strategies. Attendees walked away with actionable insights to amplify their online presence.
